This is really a beautiful template.
Though I have a suggestion. In my opinion that purple box that shows the date of the post looks kind of out of place. Maybe it would look better if it were on the white page or maybe leave it where it is but that the color from purple to another color that would mix better with the background.

    Nonetheless it’s an awesome template.

  27. Alvaris Falcon March 30, 2009 at 1:24 am

    Hi little red,

Thanks, I’m glad that you love this template!

Sure, you can access into ‘layout’ and under the ‘edit HTML’ tab, search the code .blogtitle and change the value ‘font family: Arial, Verdana’ to the font name you preferred.

You can recover the blue top bar used by blogger by search the code #navbar-iframe and remove its entire { to } section, ‘Save’ to show the bar again!

    Hope this helps, enjoy customizing!

  28. Alvaris Falcon March 30, 2009 at 1:25 am

    Hi Cebong Ipiet,

Sure, I’m excited to create my own! :D

Thanks for your words! Can I know that the image hosting service you use to host the template’s image? Thanks!

  31. jules April 2, 2009 at 8:41 pm

This template is beautiful. Colorful, vibrant yet simple and easy to read layout. I’m trying to use it but somehow, the images are not exactly in place. I’m using photobucket to upload the images. Is there any particular size that it should be uploaded?

  32. mar!ana April 6, 2009 at 8:43 am

I can’t seem to get the date stamp tab to work though, it just says “undefined”.

Y have the same problem in my another blog with colorpaper template.

I dont´know how to fix it.

  33. mar!ana April 6, 2009 at 8:55 am

Hi again, ok I fixed, i was a missunderstanding between languages, I change to english, and I identify time and date correctly.
Congratulations I have 4 blogs with your templates, I just simply love it.

  34. jules April 7, 2009 at 7:19 pm

I get it now, after check out comments on your other templates. To all those out there using photobucket and having problem with your background messed up, please clear your cache and upload again all your images. BUT, remember to select “max image size: 1 megabyte file size”. The other options compresses the images. Hope it helps. :)

  44. Rene' April 21, 2009 at 8:14 am

This template is lovely – it downloaded/uploaded fine and is working great. I’m just wondering if there is a way for me to edit the html so that my name does not appear under each post title.

    Thank you!

  45. Mamamiow April 24, 2009 at 8:18 pm

The base top, base bottom, and post bottom are missing from my page. They’re there in the html but don’t show up on the template. Seem like they’re cover by other elements, base and such. I can’t figure out how can this happen since the bg_bottom and top.jpg are wider than the width of those. No one else seem to have this problem. Please help.

  46. little red April 26, 2009 at 12:19 pm

Thanks for the help on my previous question. However, now I”m with little dreamer in that I can’t get my search bar to work. It just keeps bringing up the front page. Any ideas?

  47. Alvaris Falcon April 27, 2009 at 5:17 am

    Hi DanielaKreativa,

Thanks for your comment! I feel a need to confirm that you are changing the ‘Timestamp’ format but not ‘DateHeader’ format, thank you! ;)

  48. Alvaris Falcon April 27, 2009 at 5:19 am

    Hi little red,

Thanks for your further report! Can I have your blog address to know more about the issue? Thank you! :D

  49. Alvaris Falcon April 27, 2009 at 5:20 am

    Hi Mamamiow,

Thanks for your detailed report! Can I get your blog address to understand the issue further? Thank you! :)

  50. Mamamiow April 27, 2009 at 6:55 am

    Hi Falcon,

Thanks for the respond. My blog address is http://www.streamothought.blogspot.com I redid the template on both PC and MAC but doesn’t make much different.

  51. Dorci May 2, 2009 at 8:07 am

    Hi Falcon,
After searching loads of websites, found this beautiful template, thank you! I have it uploaded onto my “practice” blog, http://secondtreasure.blogspot.com/, which I use to get the kinks out before moving it to my real blog. Just a couple of things:
    1. Search function isn’t working;
    2. Would like to remove my name from under the post title;
    3. I would like to change the blog title name (name of real blog is God Treasure) to Gigi font, and did that in the html code, but I know not everyone’s computer will be able to pick that up. Anyway to copy the header to paint.net or something and add the new text font on and replace the code with that header?

    Thanks so much

  52. Dorci May 3, 2009 at 8:24 pm

PS – I also seem to be missing the container image although it is showing in the html code.

    Thank you,

  53. Anonymous May 4, 2009 at 7:53 am

Absolutely love the template. But i would like it if i could remove my name from under the post title and if there was a way to remove the the “search” from it, would make it perfect for me.
    Thanks so much

  54. Ingy May 6, 2009 at 5:50 am

Love the template – looks gorgeous. Have no problem with any of the features, except for the search box. Please, post some information on how to configure that. Thanks!

    • Alvaris Falcon May 20, 2009 at 1:12 pm

Thanks for the report! I have updated the template with search function fixed, you can download the template on the following URL:

If you have many gadgets installed, no worries, you can just download the file below to fix the search function manually with extremely easy steps:

Hope these helps, enjoy blogging with Water Color! :D

  55. Mamamiow May 10, 2009 at 12:01 am

Love what you did with the place, nice and clean and so chic.

    • Alvaris Falcon May 13, 2009 at 1:18 pm

      Thank you, Mamamiow. :)

  56. Mamamiow May 13, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Have you had time to figure out what’s wrong with my template set up? Let me know if you want me to send you the code. Thanks. (Didn’t mean to spam the post but I’m leaving in a week to the country that has poor internet connection. I want to get this sorted out before then.)

    • Alvaris Falcon May 13, 2009 at 1:22 pm

Thanks for sending me the blog address! I noticed that you are using the Flickr to host the template image, and after the comparison I discovered that the dimension of the image is slightly different with Photobucket hosted image.

You can try Photobucket to host your image, please remember to select ‘max image size’ to ‘1 megabyte file size’ since other options would compress the image.

Hope this helps and thanks for featuring our templates! :D

      • Mamamiow May 16, 2009 at 4:26 pm

Yes, that does it. Thank you very much Falcon. By the way, I don’t see the post bottom image on the demo either. Do you notice?

Well, you have a good taste choosing the templates to work with. It’s obvious they’re the best out there. Keep them coming…

  57. Mamamiow May 16, 2009 at 4:41 pm

I got the post bottom to work already. Don’t worry about it.

    • Alvaris Falcon May 20, 2009 at 10:34 am

      Sure, enjoy blogging! :)

  58. Jessica May 27, 2009 at 10:53 am

Thanks Falcon, I downloaded the new template (with fixed search function) and it’s working great now :=)

    • Alvaris Falcon June 2, 2009 at 11:09 am

Glad that it works, enjoy blogging ya! :=D

  59. Krystal June 10, 2009 at 12:10 am

I’m currently using this theme, however, where the date tabs are supposed to be I have “undefined”. Any clue how to fix this?

  60. Krystal June 10, 2009 at 12:39 am

please disregard the previous post. I’m a dingleberry who can’t read directions. lol

  61. Dele June 10, 2009 at 2:45 am

I cannot figure out how to get my flickr pictures to show up…I followed your directions but it didn’t work.

    • Alvaris Falcon June 15, 2009 at 2:01 pm

Thanks for your report! I feel a need to confirm to you that you got the Flickr’s ID in idGettr.com and replace the ‘YOUR-FLICKR-ID’ with your own unique ID.

Then you can put the code into the HTML/JavaScript gadget as described in the ‘Set up the Flickr Gallery on the Footer’ section, ‘Save’ to achieve your beautiful Flickr Gallery!

      All the best!

  62. Dele June 10, 2009 at 2:58 am

Another thing, when I test the search function it keep taking me to a Templatelite preview…I am assuming the search function is to search within my blog right?

    • Alvaris Falcon June 15, 2009 at 1:55 pm

Thanks for your another report! It’s actually a bug, you can fix this issue manually without losing any gadget by download and refer to the following guide:

      Hope this helps! ;)

  63. Dele June 10, 2009 at 4:46 pm

How would I go about removing the flickr photo thing at the bottom and the search bar at the top?

Thanks…and sorry for all the questions

    • Alvaris Falcon June 15, 2009 at 2:06 pm

Sure, Did you mean to remove the Search and Flickr section’s function and image?

Since the Search and Flickr section’s image are came with entire template background image, it would be a hard and time-costing matter to remove those images through Photoshop or other image editing software.

Thanks for your comment and question, please don’t hesitate to ask more to get your best solution from us, I’m always glad to help! :D

  64. Linda June 14, 2009 at 8:46 pm

    • Alvaris Falcon June 23, 2009 at 10:37 am

Thanks for your words, I’m glad that you love this template!

Hi Falcon, I like this template and I am glad that you bloggerized this template so I can use it. One problem though, it seems that I can not put my flickr photo collection into the bottom widget as per your direction. I’ve followed your directions including getting my flickr id from idgettr, etc, and I Have spent several hours to look for the error, but still doesn’t work.
    Could you please help me?

    • Alvaris Falcon June 28, 2009 at 7:10 am

Sure, I have updated the post with more explanation, you can follow the ‘Set up the Flickr Gallery on the Footer’ section to set up your Flickr photo collection properly.

Hope this helps, all the best! ;)

      • Buddy Reno June 30, 2009 at 2:30 am

I’ve figured it out! It’s an issue with copying the code from this website and pasting it directly into the textarea on the configure section. When you save it after copy and pasting, the quotes will double themselves. Reopen the configure window and manually replace all quotes. Should work fine then.

      • Buddy Reno June 30, 2009 at 2:26 am

I’ve been following the instructions and have replaced the userid with mine for the flickr photos at the bottom but it still does not work. Something isn’t correct with that embed code.

Can you please help in further detail? We’ve read through all the previous comments and suggestions you’ve made and nothing has worked.

I loved your template and am using it for my blog. I need you help to add feeds to my post (Feedflare).

Feedburner tells me to add a line of code just below “”, which I’m not able to find in this template. I’ve tried adding at a few likely places, but without success.

Can you pl help me out? And thanks for this beautiful piece of work :)

    • vK July 6, 2009 at 9:01 am

The missing string is : div class=’post-footer’

  83. Hive commentator July 6, 2009 at 10:43 am

    Thanks for your precious comment.

If you are trying to add a feedburner widget, then you need to place the code in a separate HTML widget.

This template code is not exactly similar to the standard blogger templates. So it is not necessary that you are able to find all codes.

    I hope this helps.

    • vK July 6, 2009 at 11:48 am

Its a script that I’m trying to add. Can you tell me where to place it ?

      >script expr:src='”http://feeds.feedburner.com/~s/thinkling?i=” + data:post.url’ type=”text/javascript” charset=”utf-8″/script<

It adds links to the footer of each post.

      • Hive commentator July 8, 2009 at 6:33 am

        Welcome! my dear friend.

      • vK July 6, 2009 at 2:15 pm

        Works like a charm:)
        Thanks a lot!!

      • Hive commentator July 6, 2009 at 1:49 pm

        Thanks for your kind reply.
Follow these steps so that you are able to add your script to the footer.

        1. Check the expand widget templates checkbox.
        2. Search for this cod

        3. Place the script right below this line.

I hope this will help you.

        Good luck !

Nice to meet you Nap ! Thanks for reply.

I just saw your blog. You have caused some serious trouble to the layout of the blog.

Please consider adding the images without uploading the template in notepad. Then you will make no mistake.

I hope it makes your blog beautiful. All the best.

In Spanish date options, we don`t have w ‘Wednesday, 4 March, 2008′. We have miercoles, julio 4, 2008, but it doesn`t work. Please what can I do to obtain the rigth configuration?

    • Hive Commentator July 12, 2009 at 10:49 am

You might consider shifting to english dashboard to make this change. After that you can again revert to spanish dashboard.

  87. kerubina July 12, 2009 at 2:50 am

    Hi Alvaris!

Very very nice template, I’m so glad that you converted it to Blogger and I’m using it for my blog. It looks very nice in Firefox, the problem comes with Explorer: margins seems to be out of their place and some pictures can’t come complete. Is there a way to fix it?.

Thank you in advance for your support, I saw that you reply almost all comments and I know it could be a big work, thank you for that too.

BTW, I changed the date image for the one on the new template of Smashing Magazine ‘Paper Wall’, hope you don’t mind (or the original author).

    • Hive Commentator July 12, 2009 at 12:43 pm

Hi, Kerubina. Thanks for much for report.

I just checked your beautiful blog in explorer. Everything seems to be all right.
      Please check again.
If you still have any problem, then let me know.

      Best wishes.

    • Hive Commentator July 17, 2009 at 1:29 pm

Hello. Thanks for your comment again.

This template does not comes pre equipped with the summarization feature. So you need to learn it from some other site like techieblogger.com

i hope you got the answer.

  90. Nanda July 17, 2009 at 1:49 pm

Hi! I simply adore this template, and I’m looking forward to use it! But it seems to have a little problem…
The original background is a bit diferent in my blog. It has a kind of a gray bar, in both left and right sides of the white box in the middle. I also notes that in the demo version it appears that way too. Could u please check it out and help me? Its more beautiful without this gray bar!

    From Portugal, I salute u! :-)

I hope you got your solution.

  96. P'Jean August 4, 2009 at 12:36 am

Hello… First of all, I love this watercolor template. I’ve been successful following directions for other blog templates to get them to work. However, this particular one is giving me trouble.

I uploaded my pictures to photobucket at LARGE size… as big as I could get it. None of the images are showing up. I just have a plain beige background.

The DATE is showing up correctly, but there is no lavendar color behind it. I tried the fix it you gave earlier in another blog and couldn’t figure that part out. Perhaps my brain is on a blitz right now.

I WAS able to get the tab text to show up at the top…so I did that right.

So, my only dilemma (that I see right now) is getting the actual template to show up.

Thank you for all of the work you do.
Any help that you can give would be great. I’m pretty computer literate and decent in HTMl (following directions). Perhaps I’m missing something somewhere.

    Help! :)

    • Hive commentator August 4, 2009 at 3:32 am

      Thanks for your comment.

Please upload all the images on google picasa. This will also provid you unlimited bandwidth.

      All the best.

  97. P'Jean August 4, 2009 at 12:49 am

ok this is the second time that I typed this. I guess I forgot to hit send. In a nut shell…

first let me say, thank you for such a beautiful template. this is really awesome and unique. I needed something a little more unique.

I downloaded the template, set the date and navigation buttons which are working fine.

However, I’m not getting any of the “watercolors”. I uploaded the pictures on photobucket and put the url in the template…. what am I doing wrong? I’m pretty good with computers and following the step by step directions…but, I guess, I missed something somewhere. I’ve retraced my steps three times.

your help is greatly appreciated. :)

  98. aidahazlan August 4, 2009 at 6:23 am

lovely layout…..the best that ive found so far … keep up the good work.

so I got the timestamp and the flickR all figured out w/ no problems. However, I don’t have any tabs at the top that show up on my page, only the date sidebar tabs. What do I need to do to get them to show? Thanks for all of your help!

    • Hive commentator August 30, 2009 at 4:48 am

Only if you have left your blog url i would have provided you a better solution. But at present i can only guess that you have out added the images properly. Please check them again..

      Best of luck…

Hi, thank you for such a great work for this template and efforts toward every issue people asked.
I don’t know if I’m missing something… (I saw people asked but got no answer yet)
My friends seem to have some problems posting their comments.
Can’t find a place to type their word verification.
I have a printscreen image file can show you but don’t don’t how to upload here.
Thanks again for help and my blog is at http://alicec11.blogspot.com/

    • alicec11 September 7, 2009 at 10:08 am

Hi, I found a solution to solve the issue — just enlarge the comment box from height ‘275’ to ‘400’, then all the image(word verification and ‘Post a comment’ icon)can all be seen now. I’m not a coding expert, it really takes me several days to find the solution. Anyway, if you have a better idea to fix the problem, plz do share w me.

      • Baldeep February 24, 2010 at 5:20 am

        hello Alice

I’ve found your comment to be very useful. However I am not sure how to get to the comment box that needs to be increased to 450 pixels?

I would really appreciate any help.

        Thank you

      • Hive commentator September 7, 2009 at 3:28 pm

        Wow Alice…

Its great that you have found a solution.

    • Hive commentator September 6, 2009 at 10:10 am

      Thanks for your kind comment.

The issue which you are reporting is common with all the blogs. This error is not a part of the template. You can read more about it at known-issues.blogspot.com

      all the best…

  105. Niena September 9, 2009 at 5:44 am

  106. Mimzy September 10, 2009 at 10:26 pm

I just started a blog and decided to use your Water Color template which I just love! Except….

Is there any way to change the side bar so that it only has the top part of the notepads in the side bar? For whatever reason, the bottom of the notebook covers some of the text in my gadgets and it’s a little annoying.

Here’s the link to my blog so you can see the problem.

    Thank you in advance!

    • Mimzy September 10, 2009 at 10:34 pm

I hate to say nevermind already, but I have to… As soon as I sent it, my roommate came over, took one look and told me how to do it.

Sorry for the waste of your time.

      • Hive commentator September 12, 2009 at 10:01 am

Thats no problem…. All the best…

  107. Alli September 30, 2009 at 1:15 am

    Gorgeous template, thank you!

  108. Alli September 30, 2009 at 2:03 am

Now I also have a question. I don’t have a Flickr feed and I know I can’t remove the box in the footer since it’s part of the image. Is there a way to move your credit over a bit so it’s inside that box and the whole thing looks a little more deliberate? As you can see, once I removed the Flickr RSS feed, it’s close to being in the right spot.

    • Hive Commentator October 2, 2009 at 4:50 am

      Happy blogging !

i really adore the template the first time i laid eyes on it..so i made it my blog’s template

however, it seems that the layout doesn’t fill the whole page as shown in the demo..

      • Hive Commentator October 10, 2009 at 9:00 am

        Hi Nadira..

I just checked your blog. The layout is just perfect. You’ve done a gr8 job.

    Hey man…
    I love you.

“m a bit new to blogging . After setting up my blogger account i frantically searched for an appropriate, decent but catchy enough template. Water Color is exactly the same.

Thank you so much for porting it to the blogger.

Btw, that update linked by Isabela Aragão does address some issues with photos in posts and would be rather useful.

    • Hive Commentator October 8, 2009 at 5:47 pm

Thanks for your kind comment. We will look into the issue you reported.

      Happy Blogging..

The date is correctley know anyway ;)

      /Suzzi in Sweden

      • Hive Commentator October 14, 2009 at 8:43 am

Thanks for your reply again. You can get that code by searching for it by checking the “Expand Widget Templates” section..

    • Hive Commentator October 12, 2009 at 10:35 am

You have done it perfectly. Good job. It will normal to you after you add some links and widgets.

      • Hive Commentator October 15, 2009 at 5:54 pm

You can make the archive visible by adding a new blog archive widget from the “Page Elements” section. Otherwise you will face many problems on a test blog. But it would be find on your real blog.

      • Suzzi October 12, 2009 at 1:47 pm

        Thanks for your answer :)

How about the archives? Why are they not visible?

  114. Suzzi October 12, 2009 at 7:21 pm

  115. Cheri October 16, 2009 at 10:21 pm

I can’t seem to get the flickr link at the bottom to work, I’ve tried to follow your instructions above and no luck. Also the tabs at the top are not showing up… can you please help?

    • Hive Commentator October 17, 2009 at 4:28 am

You are facing this problem because you have not added the image urls to the template code.

      Best wishes..

      • Cheri October 18, 2009 at 2:46 am

I actually was successful on getting the flickr to work… however there are still no tabs at the top of my template… can you please help with that? I haven’t seen any info on how to do this…

  116. Suzzi October 17, 2009 at 5:45 pm

I have noticed that more people than I have same problem with the tabs at top… What is wrong? The page at top is also missing a bit. And where do I put in the linkaddresses for the top tabs?

Thanks for your precious report! I have updated the setup instruction in the post above, please follow the instruction again to setup both top menu tab and Flickr gadget, thank you!

  117. Alvaris Falcon October 18, 2009 at 11:32 am

    Hi Cheri,

Sincerely thanks for your report! I have checked your blog and confirmed that you have menu gadget installed, can I invite you to follow the ‘Set Up the Navigation Menu’ guide in the post again? Thank you! :)

  118. Ceinwyn October 21, 2009 at 12:16 pm

Thanks for bloggerising this gorgeous template.

I installed the template, added some widgets and everything seems to be working fine. I have however a small problem with the search function on top of the template. When a word is searched, it apparently searches the http://demo.templatelite.com/ site and not my blog. Is there a way to correct this and if so, how should I do this?

Moreover, I would like to ask the same question as the first commentator : Is there a way to get rid of my name which appears under each post title? As I’m the only one blogging on that page, it is a bit redundant.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.

    • Ceinwyn October 21, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Oops, I forgot to mention the blog URL which is http://bentobliss.blogspot.com/ and I also have a problem with the navigation bar which seems to be out of place. any idea how I could get the tabs aligned to the posting column?

      Thanks again.

      • Alvaris Falcon October 22, 2009 at 3:40 pm

Thanks for taking time to leave precious comment and report to us, I’m glad that you love this template!

I have worked on your all issues and uploaded an updated Water Color Blogger template with all template issues you mentioned fixed, please download again from the download link provided in this post.

Hope this helps to solve all issues, all the best and enjoy blogging! :D

      • Ceinwyn October 21, 2009 at 3:05 pm

        Ok, last posting (I hope).

I downloaded the template again from this location and replaced the one I had installed previously and thanks to that my previous problems have all been solved (except for the name under the post title!)

However another problem has risen with the new template. I uploaded all the pics and rechecked the whole HTML and I didn’t forget any URL. nevertheless as it was the case with nadhira, the files bg_bottom.jpg and bg_top.jpg fail to show up, leaving the design “cropped”.

I don’t know what I could be doing wrong. Your help would be appreciated (and please forgive the previous posts).

  119. Jackie November 3, 2009 at 3:46 pm

I’d like to use the photo reel but can I use Picasa Web albums instead of Flickr?

There are also a few things I’ve been trying to tweak. It’s just petty formatting stuff but it would be great if you can help out. Is there a way to make the comment author’s name NOT italicized? I’ve also been trying to align the left margin of the embedded comment form so that it is perfectly aligned to the published comments box above it, but I can’t find the code.

    Thanks for sharing your work.

This is a beautiful template! I seem to be having problems with setting up the RSS feed. Here is a link to my blog:

I guess I am unsure what part of the HTML code I need to change, and what I need to insert instead?

The sidebar background is too short to accommodate the widgets at the bottom. It works fine in Firefox, but here’s how it looks in IE8: http://i37.tinypic.com/2nhq1sh.jpg and in Chrome: http://i37.tinypic.com/k3ksna.jpg. I haven’t tried it in Safari or Opera. Can I adjust the length of the background so the widgets fit?

Also, if you’ll notice the picture widget in IE is overlapping with the bottom-most part of the message box. It only does this in IE.

    Would appreciate the help.

      Hey Thanks Jackie.

We have noted your problem and will offer you a solution whenever it is available.

      thanks for your Patience..

  123. Jackie November 6, 2009 at 9:31 am

I’m wondering if anybody else is having the same issue with the Quick Edit link going missing? In Firefox and Chrome, The icons for editing the widgets are there but not for the posts. In IE, only the icon for the Flickr widget appears.

After doing a bit of research, I tried several workarounds but to no avail. The codes are all there, I’ve made sure the Blogger settings for enabling Post Quick Edit are in order, I’ve cleared my cache and allowed 3rd-party cookies.

I’m hoping someone can shed some light on this because it’s pretty strange if I’m the only one affected.

  126. dany November 14, 2009 at 4:43 pm

Hi, I just downloaded the template, but I can’t set the date.
When I make the access into ‘Settings’, under the ‘Formatting’ tab, into the ‘Timestamp Format’there isn’t ‘Wednesday, 4 March, 2008′,but only ‘Wednesday, March 4, 2008’ so when I choose it the date doesn’t change, and anyone of the ‘Timestamp Format’ doesn’t work, so what can I do????
    Thank you very much.

Hi, I am having problems with my archive sidebar. Right now, there’s a bottom blue bar below the title of my last archived post AND below the entire Archive sidebar gadget. I’m not sure how to get it to look right. Also, this is less of an issue, but why is there not a blue bar beneath my About Me sidebar? Thanks!

Please check if you have added all the image urls to the template code.

hy there I have a problem too,the tabs on the top are not there ,what is the problem?can you help me?.

    • Hive Commentator December 6, 2009 at 12:14 pm

One possible reason for the links nnot appearing is that you have not added any Links to the Header LinkBar Widget.

Please check and Let Me Know….

  130. Klafkid December 13, 2009 at 8:47 pm

Hey, this is a very cool template.

But I got a problem with my comment function.
The visitors can normally write their comment and click on submit, but then, when it asks for the captcha, the field is too small, so the hole review window with the captcha, the word verification, is cut of at the bottom. You can’t write in the captcha and finally submit your comment.
Would be very great if I get a fast answer to that problem.

Hi. I would like to know, how do you change the font for the title of your blog? I do not know anytning about HTML so want to know just what to change. Thanks

also I alter the width of the sidebar? ? (especially the sidebar.)

    • Klafkid December 29, 2009 at 11:29 am

why don’t you just create a picture with the font you want and under Layout | Site elements (or something like that, I’m german ;), the first one, with the widgets) you change the header settings and upload the picture you just did.

      and everything without HTML ;)

Thank you for all your hard work and help with this template. I, unfortunately, need a dummy version of your explanations. I am working on getting the tabs to show up. I assume I need to follow the instructions for how to set up the navigation menu? If this is true, what do you mean by “configure the link gadget setup?” I’m so sorry if this is such an elementary question. Please dumb it down for me (think of me as your grandmother attempting to learn this)! Thank you!

    • Christie January 21, 2010 at 7:59 pm

hee hee. Just figured it out. Silly me!

Thanks for your reply. We will be very happy to help you.

Visit your “Layout Page” . THere you will see an option to Edit a Link Widget in header. Edit it and add links.

I really want to use this template but I have no idea what I am doing. I don’t understand what I have to do when the directions read:
    4. Now you need to upload the images to your server. You can also choose to upload them to free image hosting services like Photobucket.com or Imageshack.us
    5. Open the XML template file in any text editor. Find this text “YOUR-LINK-HERE” and replace it with the URL of the images.

If you could give me some guidance, that would be super awesome.

Hi =) Can I know how to extend the paperclip background/header that part? Cause when i put my cbox, it goes way over the edge, making it look out of place. Do i need to change the html coding, from relative to absolute? Which part is it? I tried myself, but, haha. I’m soo new in this thing, and well, you get the idea. Haha. THANK YOU.

And, Also, you know the film like thing that is both above and below the blog archive one? The bottom one, covers up some part of my writing. Is there anyway to delete it

Thank you! I’m so sorrie. I’m new in this.

    please help.

    • Hive Commentator February 1, 2010 at 12:22 pm

      Thanks for your Precious Report.

It might take some time for flickr images to update in your account.

If the problem persists Double Check the Account ID you have typed in the code.

  137. stpmche February 12, 2010 at 5:21 am

I have 2 questions to ask:

    1) Is there a way to delete the flickr widget at the bottom of the template? Just delete that widget not the box.

    2) How to change the header size so that I can place my photo nicely there?

Hello, I have some problems… the first one.. my english is not very good and I am totally new creating a blog.

I have done all the steps you mentioned for Flickr… but there are not fotos on my blog.

Is there any chance to show the title of the page “Centro de Psicoterapias y Terapias Naturales” on one line?

Regarding the tabs on the top,.. I have read to put some links. But I would like to put “home” – “contact” – “about us”… how could I make this?

The “search”-Key do not search on my blog, it goes to another blog. How can I change this?

I am using this layout for a university assignment blog and I am required to add an image to the header. That works but how do I make the image centre on the page please? When I try this the image floats to left end.

Thank you for your help :)

  148. cookieskreme May 15, 2010 at 3:16 pm

For the yellow tabs at the top:

    1. “Layout”-> “Page Elements”
    2. “Menu”-> “Edit”
    3. “New Site URL”-> Paste page URL on. (Create the page first)
    4. “New Site Name”-> Change to desired name (i.e. “About Me”)

I then logged into Google Blog, clicked on template/backup/restore then clicked on the upload from my computer, found it & downloaded it was the “water-color-template-v102.xml”. Should there be more files I should download?

I did notice 2007 Office downloaded but i have other files in the list so I wasn’t sure if it went with water color file???

I am working with an HP desktop, winxp and use mozilla and/or ie when need be.

FOR ALL OF YOU WHO NEED HELP WITH “UNDEFINED” AND YELLOW/ORANGE TABS: THE ANSWER HAS BEEN UNDER OUR NOSES THE WHOLE TIME! But if you are like me I didn’t understand the wording above..But if we follow the directions it works. Goto Layout >> Page Elements and click the EDIT button on the ‘MENU’ widget. Insert your preferred link and anchor text in the required fields. Save for changes to take effect.
