The creative mind has limitless possibilities. For someone who is like Ricardo Alfonso who has a knack for innovative designs his new iPad concept takes it to the next level. This futuristic Apple iPad concept makes use of a clear glass panel. The new designs allows the user to see the background or directly through it. As the designer puts it, it perfectly blends with the surrounding. His design comes in two different colors. A white and silver like the one we have here and black slate monochrome.
The inspiration for this concept is the combined technology of Google Project Glass and the Apple iPad. It’s not a secret anymore that Google is playing with Glass project which basically useful in virtual reality industry and future devices. But don’t get too excited yet, this is far from reality. We don’t even expect that this could be the next iPad 5. But one thing is for sure, this is awesome and all if not many iPad fans would lave to get their hands on it when it comes out in the market.
Alfonso uses his expertise in use of Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) to come up with this futuristic concept design. he also added what is already known about the iPad. Noticeable there is still a home button. It also got some speaker holes on the same side of the device. Above you will see the camera. On this design you will see the front camera to be on the center but on the other design its way off from the center. Perhaps to give way for some other functions like another speaker or microphone holes perhaps.
You might also notice that iOS seemed to be unchanged. According to him he stick to what people are accustomed with and perhaps so we can easily identify it as the iPad. Of course it’s the iPad with transparent body. We know that the iOS is something that dramatically changes with so much versions coming up every now and then. But then again Apple is not known for adopting dramatic changes. So thus the design.
Of course everyone is a critic. When this futuristic iPad designs come out many has been awed. But it also faces criticism and doubtful commentaries. Many design complications has been asked. One for example is the question regarding power. Where exactly do you put the battery enough to power this device for optimum performance?
